WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THAT DUE TO COVID-19, THE ATLANTIC AIRWAYS TÓRSHAVN MARATHON HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
We regret to inform, that due to the severe situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic Atlantic Airways Tórshavn Marathon, which was scheduled to take place on 7 June 2020, has been cancelled.
This has been a very difficult decision to take. While we acknowledge that the cancellation will cause great disappointment to everyone of you, who have trained hard for at long time, it will not be possible for us to host Atlantic Airways Tórshavn Marathon in June given the situation – on the Faroe Islands and in the rest of the world.
All paying entrants will be offered to have their entry transferred to next year’s race, which will take place on 6 June 2021, or get a full refund of the entry fee paid. We sincerely hope that many of our entrants will want to support us and will return to run in Tórshavn next year.
Every participant will receive an e-mail with further information.
