For all 1/2 marathon walkers.
The course is from the lovely village of Kaldbak – which is the marathon turningpoint – and to Tórshavn city centre. The walkers will get to experience the wunderful and peaceful nature outside Tórshavn.
The walkers will start their walk at the same time as the runners, at 13.00. But the 1/2 marathon walkers will start a in the village of Kaldbak.
Shuttlebusses will leave from the busterminal, Farstøðin, (adress: Eystara Bryggja, 100 Tórshavn) to Kaldbak at 12.30pm on Sunday.
The busses will drive the participants to the starting area.
The walk will start on the 1/2 mark for 1/1 marathonrunners. This is before you reach the village of Kaldbak. The walkers will therefore start by walking through the village of Kaldbak and to the marathon turningpoint. At the turningpoint the course is set for Tórshavn.
When you reach the trafficlights by Hvítanesvegur, you turn Yvir við Strond, walk by Bursatanga to Vaglið and to the finish line in Vágsbotn.
